Terms of Trade
Our customer terms of trade have changed effective from 1 December 2018.
We review our terms of trade from time to time and wanted to make some changes that we think benefit our customers. The changes include:
- 10.1(b) and 11.1(b). We have increased the maximum amount of compensation for product fault we cause.
- 10.2 and 10.3. Aquaspec is a reseller and does not manufacture most of the products we sell. We do seek to source quality product from reputable manufacturers, backed up by our technical expertise and advice. Our terms now expressly state that we will pass on to our customers any warranties provided by a third party manufacturer, where we are able to.
- 14.9. Previously we contracted out of the Fair Trading Act as is allowed. We have removed that restriction.
These new terms apply unless you contact us by 31 January 2019 to let us know you want to stay on your current terms. If you have already agreed changes to our standard terms with us, these new terms won’t affect you unless we both agree.
