We're going cheque-free

Due to alternative, easier and safer ways to pay online, fewer people are using cheques. Many organisations, including banks, have decided to go cheque free and so we now need to adjust our payment options to align with these changes.

Making payments to Aquaspec

If you currently pay your Aquaspec account by cheque, you will no longer be able to use this payment method after 30 April 2021. Fortunately there are a range of alternative methods for paying your customer account.

  • Set up a Direct Debit (please contact 0800 353 966 to arrange this)
  • Internet banking
  • Telephone banking
  • Electronic payment at one of our branches

Receiving payments from Aquaspec

In early 2021 we will lose the ability to issue cheques for payment to your account. Direct credit provides a safe and secure way to receive a payment from us, which will appear in your bank account on the due date.

Simply provide us with your bank account number using one of the following formats:

  • screenshot of your bank account name and number from your internet banking website
  • pre-printed Bank Deposit Slip
  • image showing the top of a bank statement showing your bank account name and number
  • verified copy of the bank account number from the bank (bank stamped)

Remember to also provide your Customer Number (this can be found at the top of your statement or invoice). You can send us this information by email to, at one of our locations, or handed to a staff member.
